The challenge
The Telecom Shop is an Australian online retailer of phones, tablets, accessories and plans. Their Magento store had become a liability: slow, expensive to maintain and hard to update. They needed the full catalogue, customer data and order history moved to PrestaShop without disrupting sales or losing ground in search.
What we built
We ran the migration in phases. First a data audit and mapping, then a parallel PrestaShop build that matched their catalogue structure, then a staged move of products, customers and orders. The new store is cleaner and easier to run: better product pages, a streamlined checkout and a backend the team can use without help. Go-live was sequenced to keep downtime to a minimum.
